Who we are

In plain words

Agentible is a Shopify app built and run by a small company in Portugal.

Agentible (the service) is provided by Agentible, a business based in Alcochete, Portugal. In these terms, we, us and our mean Agentible. You and your mean the Shopify merchant who installs or uses the app.

By installing the app or using the free audit, you agree to these terms.

Business use only

In plain words

Agentible is sold to businesses, not to consumers. By using it you confirm you are acting for your business.

Agentible is offered only to businesses, for use in the course of a trade, business, craft or profession. It is not offered to consumers, and it is not designed for personal, family or household use.

By installing the app, running the free audit or paying for a plan, you confirm that you are acting for purposes relating to your business and not as a consumer, and that you have authority to accept these terms for the business that owns the store.

Because of this, consumer protection rules that apply only to consumers, including any right to withdraw from a distance contract, do not apply to your use of Agentible. If you are not a business, please do not install the app, and tell us so we can refund anything you have paid.

The service

In plain words

We audit your store for AI readiness and apply fixes you approve. We never promise rankings.

Agentible scans your store for signals that AI shopping agents read, then prepares fixes: structured data, product attributes, and copy written with Claude. We apply changes only after you approve them.

We do not guarantee AI rankings, visibility, sales, or that any specific agent will recommend your products. We sell better inputs, not guaranteed outcomes.

We improve and change the service over time. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you are paying for, you may cancel and ask for the current period back under the refunds section below.

Your account and store

In plain words

You sign in through Shopify. We ask for two permissions only: read_products and write_products. You are responsible for the content we publish on your approval.

Authentication is handled by Shopify. We never hold your password. You are responsible for keeping your Shopify account secure and for reviewing fixes before they ship.

Agentible requests exactly two Shopify permissions, read_products and write_products, and no others. We do not request access to your orders or your customers, so we cannot read them.

You confirm that you have the right to the product data and content in your store, and that fixes you approve do not make claims you are not entitled to make. For regulated categories such as supplements, you remain responsible for compliance, and we flag claims that need human review.

Acceptable use

In plain words

Do not use Agentible to deceive shoppers or agents, or to break the law.

You agree not to use the service to:

  • Show agents content that differs from what shoppers see (cloaking).
  • Publish false claims, invented reviews, or misleading product information.
  • Infringe anyone's rights or break applicable law, including consumer protection rules.
  • Attempt to extract, resell or reverse engineer the service, or to use it to build a competing product.
  • Place instructions in your product data intended to change how our models behave, or otherwise interfere with the security or integrity of the service.

We may suspend access if the service is used this way.

AI-generated content

In plain words

Claude writes the copy drafts. They can be wrong, so you review every one, and once you approve it, it is your content.

Some of what Agentible prepares is written by a large language model. We use Claude, from Anthropic, to draft product descriptions, buyer questions and conversational attributes from the product data already in your store. Structured data, identifiers and feed fixes are produced by ordinary code, not by a model.

Model output can be wrong. It can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or worded in a way that reads as a claim you cannot support. It can restate something in your existing copy that was already wrong. We tell the model to work only from your product data and never to invent facts, ingredients, certifications or figures, but no instruction makes that certain, and we do not verify the truth of what is produced.

You review, and nothing publishes without you. Every draft is shown to you before and after, and it reaches your storefront only when you approve it. That approval is the human oversight this product is built around, and it is not a formality: it is the step where a claim gets checked by someone who knows the product. Anything we published on your approval can be reverted from the app.

We flag some claims, and the flag is not legal advice. For categories that declare one, we check both your existing copy and the model's output against a list of phrases that are not safe to publish in that category, and we stop the draft and name the phrase rather than publishing it. Supplements is the clearest case: language that says a product cures, treats or prevents anything is refused. This is a pattern check. It stops the obvious and the automatic. It cannot judge whether a sentence it has never seen is a regulated claim, and it does not make your copy compliant.

Who is liable for a generated claim. Once you approve a draft, the published content is your content. As between you and us, you are responsible for it, in the same way you are responsible for copy your own team writes: as the seller and publisher, to your customers and to any regulator. We are responsible for the service working as described in these terms, subject to the warranties and liability sections below.

We do not train on your data, and this is a term of this contract and not only a privacy statement. We do not use your product data, your copy or your store's content to train any model, and we do not permit our providers to. Anthropic's commercial API terms say the same for data we send them. If that ever changes, we will tell you before it applies to you.

Billing and cancellation

In plain words

Paid plans are billed by Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice. Cancel anytime. One full audit is free forever, one per store.

One full audit is free, one per store. Paid plans are billed by Shopify: you approve the charge in your Shopify admin, it appears on your Shopify invoice alongside your other Shopify charges, and there is no separate account with us. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice for future billing periods.

Stripe is used only for the small number of stores that did not install through Shopify. If you installed from the Shopify App Store, Stripe is not involved in your billing at all. A store is on one payment route or the other, never both.

You can cancel at any time. For a plan billed by Shopify, that is done from your Shopify admin, the same place you approved it, and uninstalling the app cancels it too. On cancellation, code fixes can be removed cleanly or left in place, your choice. We do not lock you in.

Refunds

In plain words

If the service did not do what we said it would, email us within 30 days of the charge and we refund that charge in full.

If the service did not do what we said it would, email us within 30 days of the charge and we will refund that charge in full. We would rather refund you than argue about whose fault it was, so within that window we do not ask you to prove anything.

Outside that window, and for a change of mind, we do not refund periods you have already had the benefit of. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not reverse the current one. The free audit exists so you can see exactly what Agentible finds in your store before you pay anything at all.

A refund on a plan billed by Shopify is issued through Shopify and appears on your Shopify account, because that is where the charge was made. If you did not install through Shopify, we refund to the card that was charged.

None of this limits anything you are entitled to by law that cannot be limited by agreement.

Term, suspension and termination

In plain words

The agreement runs until one of us ends it. You can leave whenever you like. We can suspend for abuse, and a few clauses outlive the agreement.

These terms start when you first install the app or run the free audit, and continue until they are terminated. A paid plan runs for the billing period Shopify charges, and renews for another period unless it is cancelled first.

You can terminate at any time, by cancelling in your Shopify admin, by uninstalling the app, or by emailing us. You do not need a reason and there is no notice period.

We may terminate on 30 days' notice to you. We may terminate immediately, without that notice, if you materially breach these terms and do not fix it within 14 days of being asked, if you do not pay, if you use the service in a way the acceptable use section forbids, or if we are required to stop by law or by Shopify.

We may suspend your access immediately, and without notice where we have to act quickly, to protect the service or another merchant: for abuse, a security risk, suspected fraud, or a demand from Shopify or a regulator. We will tell you why as soon as we reasonably can, and we will restore access once the reason has gone.

When it ends: your access to the app stops, scheduled scans stop, and any subscription is cancelled. Fixes we already published to your store stay on your store unless you ask us to revert them, and you can ask us to revert them before you go. What happens to your data afterwards is described in our privacy policy and, where it applies to you, our data processing agreement.

What survives: the AI-generated content section, the warranties, indemnity and liability sections, anything you already owe us, the refunds section as it applies to charges already made, the governing law section, and the general section. Everything else stops when the agreement does.

Service levels

In plain words

There is no SLA. No uptime guarantee, no guaranteed response time, on any plan.

We do not offer a service level agreement. There is no uptime commitment, no guaranteed response time to a support request, and no service credit for downtime, on any plan. We do not sell a faster answer.

What we do instead: we run the service with reasonable skill and care, we answer support email ourselves, and when something is broken we say so. If the service is unavailable in a way that matters to you, the refunds section above is the remedy.

The service also depends on platforms we do not control, including Shopify and Anthropic. When one of them is down or changes, parts of Agentible stop working until it is resolved.

What we do and do not promise

In plain words

We promise to run the service with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that it is provided as is, and that includes anything a model writes.

We warrant that we will provide the service with reasonable skill and care, and that we have the right to provide it to you.

Beyond that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, and we exclude all other warranties, conditions and representations, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In particular, we do not warrant that:

  • the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free of errors;
  • copy, attributes or structured data written by a model will be accurate, complete, current, original, or compliant with any law or platform rule that applies to your products;
  • our compliance flagging will catch every claim that needs review, or that a draft it does not flag is therefore safe to publish;
  • any AI assistant, search engine or shopping agent will read, index, cite or recommend your store, or that any score we report will change how they behave;
  • third-party platforms we depend on, including Shopify and Anthropic, will remain available or keep behaving as they do today.

Nothing we publish, in the app or on this site, is legal, regulatory, medical or tax advice. If a claim about your product needs professional judgement, get it.

Your indemnity

In plain words

If someone comes after us because of what is on your store, you cover it. You approved it, and you sell it.

You will defend us and hold us harmless against any claim, demand, proceeding, fine, loss, damage or reasonable cost (including reasonable legal fees) brought by a third party, a consumer or a regulator, to the extent it arises from:

  • content published to your store, including content you approved that a model drafted;
  • claims made about your products, including nutrition, health, performance, sustainability, safety and origin claims, and any regulatory action about them;
  • your product data, images or trade marks, including anyone else's rights in them;
  • your breach of these terms, in particular the acceptable use section;
  • your sale, supply, labelling or shipping of the products themselves.

This does not apply to the extent the claim is caused by our own breach of these terms, our negligence, or our wilful misconduct.

If we want to rely on this, we will tell you about the claim promptly, let you control the defence, and give you reasonable help at your cost. You will not settle in a way that admits fault on our part or imposes an obligation on us without our agreement, which we will not withhold unreasonably. We may take part in the defence with our own lawyers at our own cost.

Our liability

In plain words

Our total liability is capped at the greater of the fees you paid us in the last twelve months or 500.00 EUR. Some liabilities cannot be capped, and we do not try to.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under the law that governs these terms.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these terms or the service, whether in contract, in tort (including negligence), for breach of statutory duty or otherwise, is limited to the greater of:

  • the total fees you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim; and
  • 500.00 EUR.

Subject to the same carve-outs, we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, lost revenue, lost or damaged rankings or visibility, loss of goodwill or reputation, business interruption, or lost or corrupted data beyond restoring it from the change log we keep of every write we make to your store, whether those losses are direct or indirect, and whether or not we were told they were possible.

We are not liable for anything caused by a platform we do not control, including Shopify, Anthropic, or an AI assistant deciding what to recommend, except to the extent it results from our own breach of these terms.

These limits reflect the price of the service. They are part of why it costs what it costs, and we have priced it knowing they apply.

Changes and governing law

In plain words

We may update these terms and will tell you about anything material. Portuguese law applies, and the Portuguese courts decide.

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date above and, for material changes, we tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not accept a material change, you may cancel before it takes effect, and that is your remedy. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, and the courts of Portugal have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Before either of us goes to court, we will try to sort it out by email: write to the address below and we will answer.

General

In plain words

The usual closing clauses: events outside our control, transfers, a clause that fails on its own, how we reach each other, and the terms of the platforms underneath us.

Events outside our control. Neither of us is liable for a failure or delay caused by something outside our reasonable control, including an outage at a platform we depend on, a network or hosting failure, a change in the law, an act of a public authority, industrial action, war, or a natural event. If it goes on for more than 30 days, either of us may terminate.

Transfers. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our written agreement, except to a company that buys your business, in which case tell us. We may transfer ours to a company that acquires us or the Agentible business, and we will tell you if that happens. We may use sub-processors to run the service; they are listed on our sub-processors page, and we stay responsible for what they do.

If a clause fails. If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, it is limited or removed to the smallest extent needed, and the rest stays in force. Failing to enforce something once does not waive it.

Notices. We reach you at the email address on your Shopify account or the one you gave us, and through the app. You reach us at hello@agentibleapp.com. An email is given when it is sent, unless it bounces.

The platforms underneath us. Agentible runs on Shopify and uses Anthropic's Claude. Shopify's own terms govern your Shopify account, the install, and the charges Shopify makes for us, and they apply to you directly. Anthropic's usage policies apply to output generated through their API, and you agree not to use the service in a way that would breach them. If either of them changes what they allow, we may have to change the service to match, and we will tell you when that affects you.

The whole agreement. These terms, together with our privacy policy, our data processing agreement where it applies to you, and the referral terms if you take part, are the whole agreement between us about the service. They replace anything said before. Nothing said in marketing copy adds a promise that is not written here.

No partnership. These terms do not make either of us the other's agent, partner or employer. We do not act on your behalf with anyone except as needed to run the service.

Built openly. We never promise a ranking we cannot deliver.
